Message Hi there. I just got to looking at my Tomei solid lifters and noticed that they all have a solid black coating on the top part of them. This coating is never in any of the pictures. I was going to have them WPC treated along with several other parts in the motor, but if this is already a friction coating, then I may not need to do that. Just curious if anyone can shed some light on this. Tried searching info about these lifters, but they all say the same thing. Please let me know what the coating is for if you have any idea. Here is a crappy picture of the coating for those that do not know.

Thanks,
Mike
